Available Position: Registered Dental Assistant
Location: Brighton Dental, San Diego, CA 92120

Schedule: Full-time | Mon thru Wed 7:45AM-4PM & Thurs 7:45AM-3PM

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team in an upscale, high tech boutique style practice. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
• Welcome and prepare patients for treatment while ensuring their comfort.
• Take and process digital dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
• Record accurate patient information and treatment notes in the electronic dental record.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Manage dental materials and clinical inventory.
• Cross trained in front office scheduling and answering phones, no mandatory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with digital radiography and Dentrix software is preferred.
Work Schedule
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 7:45AM-4PM & Thursday 7:45AM-3PM
• Occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on patient needs.
