We are looking for a full-time Expanded-Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) or CDA with current radiology certification to join our team.
Our practice is highly collaborative and team oriented. We believe that when our team feels supported and appreciated, our patients receive the exceptional care they deserve.
Surgical experience is a plus!
What You’ll Do
As an important member of our clinical team, you will help provide an outstanding experience for both our patients and doctors.
Responsibilities may include:
• Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures
• Provide excellent patient care before, during, and after treatment
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for procedures
• Follow established infection-control, sterilization, and patient-care protocols
• Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by your certification and applicable requirements
• Anticipate the needs of the doctor and support the clinical team efficiently
• Help ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared clinical environment
• Work collaboratively with doctors, assistants, and the entire practice team
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a positive, dependable, highly organized Dental Assistant who takes pride in their work and genuinely enjoys caring for patients.
You should have:
• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Current EFDA or CDA certification
• Current radiology/X-ray certification
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative
• The ability to anticipate the needs of doctors and teammates
• A warm, professional, and positive chairside manner
• A strong commitment to patient care and customer service
• The ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Experience with Dentrix and Dexis preferred
• Surgical/dental surgery experience is a plus
