Compensation
Up to $28/hr + skills‑milestone raises

What Makes This Role Special
Skill‑Based Growth Path – Earn automatic raises when you master CBCT scanning, iTero workflows, indirect bonding set‑ups, and in‑house aligner trimming.
Cutting‑Edge Tools – Digital charting (Cloud 9), iTero 5D, 3‑D printing, and a light‑filled clinical space designed for efficient movement.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Clinical Prep & Chairside Excellence
• Set‑up/tear‑down operatories, prepare indirect‑bonding trays, and stage bonding materials.
• Assist the doctor with bracket positioning, wire changes, elastomeric ties, stainless‑steel ligatures, and power chain placement.
High‑Quality Records & Appliances
• Capture diagnostic photos, intraoral scans, and CBCT scans (training provided).
• Fabricate Essix/clear retainers and in‑house aligner trays; verify fit and deliver instructions to patients.
Sterilization & Inventory
• Maintain strict instrument sterilization protocols and track supply levels, communicating needs to the lead assistant.
Patient Education & Comfort
• Review home‑care instructions, reinforce elastic wear, and ensure every patient leaves with questions answered and next visit scheduled.
Team Support
• Jump in where needed—lab work, minor front‑desk coverage, or special projects—to keep the day flowing smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
1+ year dental‑assisting experience (orthodontics preferred).
Current Texas RDA license & radiology endorsement (or ability to obtain quickly).
Track record of exceptional attendance and punctuality—reliability is non‑negotiable.
Eagerness to learn advanced ortho techniques and new technologies.
Polished, positive chairside manner with children, teens, and adults.
Nice‑to‑Have: Experience with Orthopms/sync, indirect bonding trays, in‑office 3‑D printing, or aligner therapy workflows.
