Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages, including children.

Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatments.
- Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phone calls and managing patient inquiries.
- Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients and assisting in their treatment.

Experience
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is mandatory.
- Valid PA radiology
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
