Dental Hygienist Needed for Tues, Wed, Thurs
LOCATION
Levittown, NYNYS Licensed Dental Hygienist (NEW GRADUATES WELCOLMED) needed Tuesday-Thursday for small private practice in Levittown. Our main objective is to create an environment that is comforting for our patients in order for them to build a great dental experience and relationship. We believe by having a staff that is happy and works as a team we are able to give patients this experience. So if you think this is the type of office you can thrive in feel free to apply.
Hours: Tues 10am-7pm, Wed 11am-6pm, Thu 9am-6pm

Responsibilities:
*Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
*Sterilize dental instruments properly
*Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
*Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
*Clean and help protect patients’ teeth
*Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care
*Give instructions to patients after dental procedures
*Take X-rays or dental impressions
*Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
*Monitor supplies
Skills:
*Experience as Dental Hygienist
*CPR Certified
*In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession
*Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
*Outstanding communication skills
*A patient and friendly personality
*Attention to detail
*Diploma in Dental Hygiene
*Valid license to practice in NYS
