Responsibilities

1. Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, crowns, and extractions.
2. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
3. Take and record vital signs of patients as needed.
4. Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate dental records using systems such as Dentrix.
5. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
6. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
7. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments
Support the dental receptionist in managing front office duties when necessary.
Experience
8. At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
9. Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is a plus.
10. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience in assisting with prosthodontics procedures is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are necessary for success in this role.
11. Must speak English and Spanish Fluently
