Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled dental hygienist to join our general dental practice on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a motivated, patient-focused professional who values quality care, efficiency, and a strong team environment. Our practice is a mostly fee-for-service office, allowing our team to focus fully on delivering exceptional dentistry and personalized service.

The ideal candidate will provide outstanding preventive care and support same-day treatment acceptance by communicating clearly and professionally with patients. Responsibilities include conducting routine dental cleanings, taking and developing dental x-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, sterilizing instruments and equipment, and assisting dentists during examinations and treatments. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, support the management of dental emergencies, and contribute to a calm, efficient clinical workflow.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience and a degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program, along with current state licensure. Strong dental assisting skills are important, as is familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical coding, and proper documentation. Experience with Open Dental software is a plus, and knowledge of CAD/CAM systems is desirable. A solid understanding of medical terminology and aseptic technique is essential.

This position also requires comfort with advanced clinical support and screening procedures, including oral cancer screening, oral pathology screening, nitrous oxide administration, sleep apnea screening, and bone grafting support. The right candidate will be confident, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
