Our team consists of one doctor, two hygienists, two assistants, a front desk coordinator, and a lab technician. We value teamwork, professionalism, and a drama-free culture where everyone supports each other.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (patient care 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch)

Team Setup: Work alongside two other assistants and a skilled clinical team

Culture: Friendly, supportive, and growth-oriented environment

Experience: X-ray certification required; at least 1 year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

Welcome and prepare patients for treatment

Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry techniques

Take digital x-rays and intraoral photos

Select, set up, and sterilize instruments and materials

Support with lab tasks as instructed

Provide oral hygiene and post-op care instructions

Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked operatories

Accurately update patient records

Help schedule appointments and support with payment procedures

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year preferred)

X-ray certification required

Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control

Familiarity with health and safety regulations

Computer proficiency (experience with dental software a plus)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented, reliable, and well-organized

High school diploma required; graduation from dental assistant school preferred

Additional certification (e.g., EFDA, coronal polishing) is a plus

Our Schedule
We run a Monday through Thursday work week, with staff starting at 7:30 AM and wrapping up by 5:30 PM. Patient hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a full one-hour lunch built in. This gives our team a long weekend every week to recharge.
