Dental Hygienist

Are you a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist looking for a supportive environment to grow your career? Our general dental office, which is private and operated by a single doctor, is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team.
As a valued member of our practice, you will have the unique opportunity to work independently, as you will be the sole dental hygienist in the office. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, calculus removal, fluoride treatment, and local anesthesia administration. You will also engage in patient education surrounding oral health, ensuring that our patients understand the importance of regular dental care.
To thrive in this role, you will need to possess essential skills such as air polishing, gingivitis screening and treatment, and the use of various irrigation agents. Additional experience with Arestin Therapy, pediatric hygiene, and whitening tray fabrication will be greatly valued.
Our office is equipped with the latest technology, including DEXIS digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and NOMAD Pro X-ray units. You will find our administrative processes streamlined, utilizing Open Dental software to maintain patient records.
We pride ourselves on maintaining high safety standards, providing PPE such as goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks to ensure your safety and that of our patients. Your work environment includes an underground heated garage for convenient parking, allowing for a hassle-free commute.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive compensation package, starting at $50 per hour, adjusted based on experience. We also provide dental benefits along with PTO to promote a healthy work-life balance. You will enjoy a structured schedule, seeing one patient at a time, with typically 60 minutes allotted for each recall appointment. Additionally, after every four hours of work, you will receive a 15-minute paid break and an optional 30-minute unpaid break.
