Prior Authorization and Benefit Specialist

We’re currently looking for a Dental Insurance Benefit and Prior Authorization Specialist who is not only skilled and detail-oriented but also thrives in a positive, team-driven environment. This position is M-Th, 7:45am-3:30pm

What You’ll Do:

Obtain prior authorizations and manage insurance pre-determinations with precision
Clearly communicate benefits and out-of-pocket costs to patients in a way they can understand
Collaborate closely with clinical and front office teams to ensure seamless patient experiences
Follow up on outstanding authorizations and proactively resolve any insurance barriers
Build insurance plans in Open Dental making sure to ensure accuracy
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in dental or medical insurance coordination, preferably with prior authorizations
A friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
A team player who leads with a great attitude and is always ready to lend a hand

Open Dental experience is a plus!
