Registered Dental Hygienist - Hayward
LOCATION
Hayward, CAWe are seeking a skilled and patient-focused dental hygiene professional to join a well-established, full-time practice serving a diverse mix of general, multi-specialty, and multi-doctor patients. Our office is committed to delivering high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values professionalism, efficiency, and excellent patient communication. This position is available as a result of the current dental hygienist’s retirement, creating an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to step into an established role.
In this position, you will provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic care for patients insured through PPO plans and those with private payment arrangements. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend approximately one hour with each individual, allowing you the time to deliver thorough, personalized care and reinforce strong oral health education. Your daily responsibilities will include cleanings, periodontal assessments, patient education, charting, and collaboration with the dental team to support optimal treatment outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in dental hygiene and a strong foundation in working within a busy clinical setting. A college-level education is expected, along with a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with patients. We are looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in a practice that values both clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
This is a full-time hourly position with a one-hour lunch break each day. Convenient parking is available in the parking lot for added ease and accessibility.
