About the Role:
As our Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to our diverse patient population, including General, Medicaid, and Private patients. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting thorough dental charting, providing fluoride treatments, and educating patients about their oral health. You will also maintain accurate patient records and perform prophylaxis cleanings, ensuring each appointment is tailored to the specific needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dental assessments and charting.
- Perform prophylaxis procedures and fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records using Open Dental and Vixwin software.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- A valid Dental Hygiene license.
- Experience with dental charting, fluoride treatments, and patient education.
- Proficiency in Open Dental and Vixwin is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
- New graduates and seasoned professionals are encouraged to apply!
Work Environment:
You will enjoy a supportive work atmosphere where you will see one patient at a time, allowing for more personalized care during appointments that typically last between 45-90 minutes. We believe in the importance of work-life balance, which is why a 30-minute lunch break is provided during your shift.
We offer a competitive pay rate starting at $55 per hour, and while benefits are available for full-time employees, our part-time role can provide valuable experience in a friendly, state-of-the-art practice.
