Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a brand-new pediatric dental practice in Celina, TX. This role is 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

As an RDA, you will work closely with the dentist and team to provide excellent patient care while helping establish the practice’s workflows and operational efficiency. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about pediatric dentistry and excited to contribute to a growing practice.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Provide chairside support, including passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, following proper safety protocols.
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of treatment areas according to infection control standards.
Manage patient records, inputting accurate treatment notes and assisting with documentation.
Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Assist in ordering and managing dental supplies to maintain inventory levels.
Contribute to a welcoming and kid-friendly environment, helping create a positive experience for young patients.

Qualifications

Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Texas with minimum 1 year experience
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in taking X-rays and knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
Strong communication skills with a patient-focused and friendly demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support the practice’s growth

Expected hours: 24 per week
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
