Full Time Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our full-time team in a modern, multi-doctor, private general dentistry practice. Our office provides general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry in a state-of-the-art setting designed to support high-quality care for patients of all ages. In this role, you will provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene care while working with one patient at a time, typically for one hour per appointment. Responsibilities include prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, periodontal screening, gingivitis screening, fluoride treatment, and ultrasonic scaling using Cavitron and air polishing techniques. You will also support nitrous oxide administration and monitoring as appropriate, maintain sterile procedures, and assist with treatment planning to promote long-term oral health.

Strong clinical and administrative skills are essential. Duties include dental charting, patient records management, data entry, patient recall, and use of Open Dental. Experience with intraoral camera imaging and digital X-rays is preferred, along with a solid understanding of patient education to help individuals and families make informed decisions about their oral health. We also welcome candidates who are comfortable working with special needs patients and contributing to a calm, supportive clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in dental hygiene and a college-level education in the field. You should be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to communicate clearly with patients and the dental team. Parking is available on the side of the building for your convenience.

This full-time position offers a competitive, negotiable compensation package and a strong benefits plan that includes medical insurance, PTO, and a 401(k). Lunch breaks are 1 hour on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday hours are 8 to 6. Thursday hours are 8 to 2 and Friday hours are 8 to 12.
