Part Time Hygienist

We are a growing general dentistry practice seeking a skilled and personable dental hygienist to join our team on a part-time schedule, with patient care focused on providing one-on-one attention to each individual. In this role, you will typically spend 50–60 minutes with each patient, allowing time to deliver thorough preventive care, build trust, and help create a comfortable experience from start to finish.

The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of experience in a dental office and is confident performing a full range of hygiene duties, including routine prophylaxis, periodontal charting, scaling and root planing as appropriate, oral health education, and patient communication. You should be comfortable working in a general practice environment and able to collaborate effectively with the clinical team to support excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality preventive dental hygiene care
- Reviewing medical and dental histories
- Taking and interpreting radiographs as needed
- Performing periodontal assessments and documenting findings
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Supporting the dental team in providing efficient, compassionate care

Compensation for this role is $40–$43 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
