Treatment Coordinator – Dental | Growth-Focused Private Practice
Midtown Dental Studio | Plantation, FL
Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | Fridays Off
Are you the kind of person who can make a patient feel completely at ease while confidently helping them make decisions about their dental care?
Midtown Dental Studio is looking for an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator who is warm, organized, confident, and comfortable having meaningful conversations about treatment and finances.
We are a privately owned, husband-and-wife dental practice focused on comprehensive dentistry, technology, exceptional patient experiences, and developing an incredible team.
This is not simply a front-desk position.
Our Treatment Coordinator plays a major role in helping patients understand their treatment, work through concerns or obstacles, understand their financial options, and ultimately move forward with the care they need.
We’re looking for someone who can build trust without being pushy, talk about money without getting uncomfortable, and hear “I need to think about it” without immediately closing the treatment plan and wishing the patient a nice day.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Supporting our Lead Treatment Coordinator and working together to create a smooth experience for our patients
- Presenting treatment plans clearly and confidently when needed
- Helping patients understand their treatment, next steps, and financial options
- Scheduling treatment and helping patients find appointment times that work for them
- Identifying opportunities for same-day treatment
- Following up with patients who have unscheduled treatment
- Assisting with financing options and payment arrangements
- Collecting patient portions and reviewing balances
- Checking patients in and out with a warm, welcoming experience
- Answering phones and assisting patients with scheduling and general questions
- Responding to patient calls, messages, and requests
- Coordinating with our doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front office team throughout the day
- Maintaining accurate patient information, treatment plans, notes, and documentation in Eaglesoft
- Helping with general front-office responsibilities and jumping in wherever the team needs support
- Following established systems while bringing initiative, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
Who Will Thrive Here
You may be our person if you:
- Are naturally warm, personable, and confident
- Build relationships quickly
- Are an excellent listener
- Can talk comfortably about treatment and money
- Know how to ask good questions rather than immediately accepting the first objection
- Follow through without needing someone to constantly remind you
- Are organized and detail-oriented
- Take ownership when something isn't working
- Communicate well with doctors and the clinical team
- Are comfortable learning new technology and systems
- Want feedback, coaching, and continued growth
- Are looking for a career and a team to grow with, not simply your next job
Dental Experience
Previous dental experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience with treatment presentation, insurance, financing, scheduling, and patient financial conversations.
Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus.
More important than knowing every Midtown system on Day 1 is having the confidence, communication skills, ownership, and willingness to learn required to become exceptional at the role.
Treatment coordination also shouldn't become arguing with patients after they say no; the Bulletproof materials specifically discuss the importance of understanding why patients hesitate rather than assuming more education alone creates acceptance.
Why Midtown?
We believe great dentistry happens when you combine an exceptional team with great systems, technology, education, and culture.
Our practice offers:
- Monday–Thursday schedule — Fridays off
- PTO and paid holidays
- Health insurance
- 401(k)
- Dental benefits
- Uniform benefits
- Bonus opportunities
- Training and mentorship
- Modern technology and systems
- A culture focused on personal and professional growth
- Opportunity to grow
We don't expect perfection on Day 1. We do expect curiosity, ownership, follow-through, and a desire to continuously get better.
