Dental Assistant - Private Dental Practice
LOCATION
Cypress, TXWe're looking for an experienced, dependable, and proactive **Dental Assistant** to join our growing private practice in Cypress, TX.
We are looking for someone with **at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in general dentistry** who is comfortable working independently and already understands the fundamentals of clinical assisting.
**This is not an entry-level training position.** We need someone who can step in and contribute right away.
Schedule - We welcome candidates who are looking to work **at least 2–3 of the following days:**
- Monday
- Friday
- Saturday
What We're Looking For
- **1–2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant in general dentistry**
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and **tray setups**
- Comfortable with **chairside assisting** and anticipating the doctor's needs
- Able to **take dental X-rays**
- Experienced with **taking impressions**
- Able to fabricate **temporary crowns**
- Comfortable with **digital intraoral scanning**
- Familiar with sterilization and maintaining an organized clinical environment
- Comfortable using **Open Dental** for basic charting and documentation
- Able to **review and present treatment plans to patients when needed**
- Professional, friendly, and comfortable communicating with patients
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a small team
- Proactive and able to work independently without needing constant direction
