Orthodontic Assistant

Tebo Dental is a well-established and privately-owned children & teen and orthodontic group with locations just north of Atlanta, GA. We are looking for motivated, team-oriented, loyal, and dedicated professionals who are eager to provide quality and efficient orthodontic care.

Our ortho department currently sees patients between our Lilburn, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, and Cumming offices.

Responsibilities:
Clearly communicate patient needs/concerns with the orthodontist
Thoroughly educate patients on various procedures and treatment recommendations
Provide post-operative and general oral health care instructions to patients
Gather all patient dental records
Notate patient charting and clinical notes
Take digital x-rays and intraoral images as needed
Provide chair side assistance to the orthodontist during treatment
Maintain patient room supplies and ensure inventory is appropriately stocked
Sterilize instruments and equipment and assemble trays
Perform various laboratory duties
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Prior experience as an orthodontic assistant is preferred
Fluency in Spanish is a plus
Knowledge of dental/orthodontic terminology
Willing to travel between our Lilburn, Dacula, Peachtree Corners, and Cumming offices
Previous experience using Dolphin Imaging practice management software is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Strong organizational skills
