Our small practice thrives on long-standing relationships with our patients and is now seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time dental hygienist to join our family. You’ll be working alongside one dentist, ensuring a supportive and collaborative environment.
About Our Practice:
Founded by my father, who retired two decades ago, our practice has seamlessly blended tradition with modern technology. We are fully digitized with Dentrix and Carestream software to streamline our operations and enhance patient care. Our patients are not just numbers; they are part of our family, and we take pride in delivering personalized and gentle dental hygiene services.
Position Details:
We are looking for a hygienist to cover specific hours: Tuesdays from 1 PM to 8 PM and Fridays from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will see one patient at a time, allowing you to dedicate approximately 45 minutes to each cleaning. This practice provides a fully supportive work environment, complete with personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and promote oral health education
- Utilize Dentrix for patient management and record-keeping
- Build rapport with patients and ensure a comfortable experience
Qualifications:
- Current dental hygiene license
- Proficiency in Dentrix is essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
