About Us
Next Care Dental is a busy general dental practice in West Houston. We see a diverse mix of PPO, Medicare Advantage, children's Medicaid, and self-pay patients, and we welcome walk-ins and same-day visits. Our team is small, efficient, and supportive. We're looking for a versatile RDA who is just as comfortable chairside as at the front desk.
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time, 3 days per week (24–27 hours)
- Office hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- No evenings, no weekends
- pay: based on experience and certifications
Clinical Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for general, restorative, emergency, and denture procedures
- Taking radiographs, including panoramic X-rays
- Room turnover, sterilization, and infection control per OSHA/CDC standards
- Coronal polishing and sealants (if certified)
- Charting and preparing patients for treatment
Front Office Responsibilities
- Greeting and checking patients in and out, including walk-ins
- Scheduling, confirming appointments, and filling same-day openings
- Verifying PPO, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid eligibility and benefits
- Presenting treatment plans and financing options (CareCredit, Sunbit, Cherry)
- Collecting payments
- Answering phones and responding to patient text messages
Requirements
- Current Texas RDA registration (TSBDE)
- At least 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
- Front desk or insurance verification experience
- Friendly, professional communication with patients
- Comfortable switching between clinical and front office tasks during the same day
Preferred
- Coronal polishing and pit & fissure sealant certifications
- Experience with Curve Dental and Adit
- Bilingual
