Part-Time Hygienist

We are a privately owned single doctor general dental practice seeking a part-time hygienist who is positive, motivated, and outgoing. Our office focuses on building relationships with patients, providing them the dentistry that they want, and earning their trust. We are looking for someone to help us 2 days a week with the option to add a 3rd. We are looking for a Tuesday 730am - 4pm (1hr lunch) and Thursday 730am-2pm (straight through); the occasional 3rd day would ideally be Monday (830am-6pm 1hr lunch). We use Open Dental and Dexis, no accelerated, 1 appointments, 2hr new patient, and 2hr SRP (unless limited SRP).

Specific duties include:

Greeting patients, taking their vitals, and seating them in a timely fashion
Taking necessary xrays that are appropriate
Removing plaque and tartar from teeth
Assess levels of periodontal disease and recommend treatment
Document patient care and communicate with the doctor
Maintain instrumentation
Assigned tasks as needed
Ordering hygiene supplies
