Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our high-performing team in San Francisco, CA 94108. You will play a key role in providing preventive care, educating patients, and supporting our holistic approach. Efficiency, consistency, and a willingness to learn are essential to thrive in our fast-paced, premium practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including periodontal screenings, oral cancer checks, and microbiological testing.
• Provide professional dental cleanings (scaling, polishing, stain removal) tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Educate patients on preventive oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and how oral health impacts systemic health.
• Partner with the dentist to assist in holistic treatment planning and ensure continuity of care.
• Document accurate and thorough patient records in the practice management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols consistent with holistic and biological dentistry standards.
• Recommend appropriate recall intervals and preventive products.
• Support patient comfort with a patient-centered, calming chairside approach.
• Participate in airway assessments and support holistic treatment protocols.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3–5 years of clinical hygiene experience preferred.
• Certifications: RDH in California and CPR required; laser certification preferred.
• Personality: Patient-centered, organized, efficient, motivated, and willing to learn.
• Committed to providing premium, evidence-based care in a holistic environment
• Experience in systemic connection, microbiological testing, and airway management is preferred.

Schedule
• 4 days/week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Options: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
Compensation & Benefits
• Pay: $73–$90/hr DOE
• Health Stipend: Provided (after one year eligibility)
• Dental Coverage: Provided in-office
• Commuter Benefits: Available
• CE support: $800/year for CE courses
