We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join a well-established general dental practice serving a mix of PPO and private patients. This is a full-time opportunity in a single-doctor office where you will play an essential role in supporting patient oral health through preventive care, education, and high-quality treatment.
This position is available because our current dental hygienist is retiring, creating an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to step into a stable and respected role. We welcome applicants with any level of experience, including recent graduates, as long as they hold a valid dental hygiene license and are committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities will include providing thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, oral health assessments, and patient education on home care and preventive practices. You will see one patient at a time, allowing you to focus on quality care and meaningful patient interaction. Appointments are typically scheduled for one hour for adult patients and half an hour for children, supporting efficient workflow while maintaining a strong standard of care.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a professional, patient-focused environment and will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Because this is a general practice, flexibility and a commitment to supporting a broad range of patient needs are important. A college-level education and a current dental hygiene license are required.
We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at $48 and above, along with a solid benefits package that includes PTO, holiday pay, a 401(k), and a contribution to insurance. The office also provides the necessary PPE, including disposable gowns, nitrile gloves, and regular masks, to help support a safe and comfortable work environment.
Additional conveniences include a one-hour lunch break and parking available in front of the office. If you are looking for a full-time dental hygiene role in a professional, supportive setting where you can build lasting patient relationships, this may be a great fit for you.
