Private office 3-4 days per week

LOCATION
Cambridge, MA

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented dental hygienist to join our small, private, single-doctor general dentistry practice. As a growing office with a consistently strong patient base, this opening is the result of our continued expansion and the demand for high-quality preventive care. Our team is well established, with every other role filled by experienced employees who have been with the office for 5+ years, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a full-time opportunity in an office that is open 4 days per week with slightly expanded hours, allowing for full-time work while also providing a 3-day weekend each week. We see one patient at a time, giving you the time and focus needed to deliver exceptional care. Appointment lengths are designed to support quality treatment, including 60-minute recall visits, 90-minute new patient appointments, and 90-minute SRP appointments.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable talking with patients and taking intra-oral photos, as strong communication is an important part of our care model. Responsibilities include calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, fluoride treatment, periodontal screening, patient education, patient recall, patient records, treatment planning, and supporting excellent preventive and periodontal care. Experience with Eaglesoft and intraoral cameras is preferred. CPR certification is required, and familiarity with modern technology will be a plus.

Our practice uses advanced tools to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient communication, including intra-oral cameras, Trios scanning, 3D printing, and CBCT imaging. We value team members who appreciate technology and are eager to use it to improve the patient experience.

We welcome experienced hygienists as well as newer graduates who are open to learning and growing in a supportive setting. Compensation is $62–$64 per hour, depending on experience and fit.

Benefits include paid holidays, PTO, a 401(k) with match, and dental care. PPE is provided, including nitrile gloves, regular masks, and lab coats. Parking is available in an assigned lot a short walk from the office. A 45–60 minute unpaid lunch break is included during the workday.

Please do not call or email the office to apply.

I know what it’s like to work for a bad practice. I feel like I wasted 4 years of my professional life. A classmate told me about Cloud Dentistry. In the past 8 months, I have worked in numerous practices, had better instrumentation to practice my craft, and have felt a great sense of respect. It’s amazing to feel free again while earning more money.

I really like the rating system for both the provider and the office so that it provides a brief snapshot of the level of service provided.

I wish I had the option of putting more stars, as I don't think 5 is enough! I can’t thank Cloud Dentistry enough for all the work it's provided me. I love utilizing the user-friendly platform to create my own schedule. The offices I've worked for have been great and I truly do not see myself using any other platform out there. Thank you Cloud Dentistry for helping make my professional future one I'm so proud of. I will be recommending Cloud Dentistry to all of my dental professional friends and family!
