Part-Time Periodontal Dental Hygienist – Thursdays

We are a specialty periodontal practice seeking a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team part-time on Thursdays.

This is a great opportunity for a hygienist who enjoys periodontal care, values quality over volume, and wants to work in a professional, supportive, patient-focused environment.

Position: Periodontal Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Schedule: Thursdays, Part-Time

Responsibilities
- Provide thorough periodontal maintenance and prophylaxis
- Perform scaling and root planing as indicated
- Review periodontal charting and monitor changes in periodontal health
- Administer nitrous oxide sedation as permitted by California licensure/certification
- Utilize dental lasers for periodontal hygiene therapy as permitted by California licensure/certification
- Take digital radiographs as needed
- Provide personalized oral hygiene instruction and patient education
- Communicate clinical findings with the periodontist and team
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
- Follow proper infection control and sterilization protocols
- Help create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

Qualifications
- Current California RDH license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with periodontal patients preferred
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient-education skills
- Professional, dependable, warm, and team-oriented
- Comfortable treating patients with varying levels of periodontal disease
