We are a growing general dental practice seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our office is known for its friendly atmosphere and the nicest patients around, making it a great place to build meaningful relationships while contributing to patients' oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will:
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
- Take and interpret X-rays, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to create tailored dental care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold a valid dental hygiene license in the state.
- Have 1-2 years of experience in a dental setting, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive patient experience.
- Be detail-oriented and committed to providing quality care.
Work Environment:
You will enjoy working in a cozy little office that prioritizes a friendly atmosphere. We see one patient at a time, allowing you ample opportunity to focus on individualized care. Each patient appointment typically lasts 45 minutes to an hour, which includes time for X-rays when necessary. Our dedicated team values your contributions and works collaboratively to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
We provide a beneficial work-life balance with a one-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. You may choose your regular hours. We ask for 2-3 days a week, full time (4 days/week) is also available for discussion. Additionally, our office offers convenient parking in the lot right in front of the building.
Our office is open 4 days a week, Alternating Mondays and Fridays, allowing every other weekend to be a four day weekend!
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $58-$65, commensurate with your experience and abilities. As part of our team, you will also receive dental benefits, furthering our mission to promote a healthy smile for everyone.
