We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our established general practice, which has proudly served our community for over 30 years. Our solo practitioner is known for their kindness, friendliness, and conscientious care, creating an inviting atmosphere for both staff and patients.
As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to become a part of our friendly team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients and ensuring their comfort throughout each visit. In this position, you will work one-on-one with patients, typically seeing adults for recall appointments lasting 45 minutes and new patients for 1 hour. This patient-focused approach allows for a thorough examination and personalized attention to each individual's dental hygiene needs.
The office is open on Mondays 9-6, Tuesdays 8-5, Wednesdays 9-6, Thursdays 10-7 and Saturdays 8-2. We are willing to work out a schedule that is practical for the applicant, but need someone who can commit to covering Saturdays fairly regularly. We understand that sometimes there are events that may come up, but would hope that we can plan for those in advance.
Ideal candidates will have a valid dental hygiene license (RDH) and a strong sense of confidence in their abilities. We value strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor, as you will be responsible not only for performing dental cleanings but also for educating patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their dental health.
Our office provides convenient parking in the lot of the building, making your commute hassle-free. During your busy workday, you will appreciate a dedicated 1-hour lunch break to recharge. We believe in the importance of work-life balance and fostering a supportive environment.
