Pediatric Hygiene Assistant

Seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Hygiene Assistant to join our growing dental team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is committed to providing excellent care.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assisting skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to support both doctor and hygiene schedules as needed.

Position: Dental Assistant / Hygiene Assistant

Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience required
Pediatric experience is a MUST
Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Strong chairside assisting skills
Ability to take quality X-rays
Experience with sterilization, room turnover, and infection control protocols
Comfortable assisting with patient flow, seating patients, and preparing rooms
Ability to support hygiene appointments
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Must be organized and able to multitask in a busy dental office

Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric dental experience
Bilingual
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software

Responsibilities Include:
Assisting the doctor chairside during procedures
Supporting hygiene appointments and helping maintain schedule flow
Taking X-rays and preparing patients for treatment
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean operatories
Setting up and breaking down rooms
Reviewing patient needs and helping create a positive patient experience
Working closely with the clinical and front office team to keep the day running smoothly

Compensation:
Hourly pay based on experience (21-23/hr)
Full time benefits include medical, vision, dental, disability, uniform allowance, time off

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 7:45-5:00
Friday when needed 7:45-2:00
No Weekends!
