Dental Hygienist

LOCATION

Laurel, MD

We need a hygienist who wants to form meaningful healthcare provider relationships with their patients. A hygienist with a passion for promoting optimal oral health. Patients don't know what they need to obtain outstanding oral health until we educate and inform them. We want a hygienist that is a partner with the doctor to provide a comprehensive plan for each individual patient. Our schedule allow our newest hygienist to have off on Mondays and Fridays if they prefer. We hope to hear from our new team member soon.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dental cleanings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform dental charting and take X-rays
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Requirements
-Familiarity with using a laser (not mandatory ) will train
- Proficiency in medical imaging and terminology
- Understanding of anatomy
- Familiarity Eaglesoft is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately
