Part-Time EDDA Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our welcoming team at a well-established private practice in Lakewood, CO. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Edlund and our small yet talented staff of five pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with our loyal patients, many of whom have been with us for over 30 years.
In this part-time role, you will work three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and will be crucial in providing exceptional dental care. The ideal candidate will have experience with composite restorations, Prime Scan for same-day crowns, and adjustments for dentures, partials, and night guards. Familiarity with Open Dental and Dexis software is essential.
Key responsibilities include performing air polishing, coronal polishing, and ultrasonic scaling, as well as maintaining patient records, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring infection control and instrument sterilization. Your dependable, motivated nature will help you thrive in our close-knit, family-oriented environment.
