Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, exceptional clinical skills, and a commitment to educating patients on the importance of oral health. This role could be either Full Time or Part-Time. We are flexible and will work around your schedule.

Responsibilities:

· Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments

· Take and develop X-rays as needed

· Conduct patient screenings and assessments, including reviewing medical histories and updating patient records

· Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and diet tips for optimal dental health

· Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and sterilization of instruments

· Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all procedures and observations

· Work collaboratively with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive care

· Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technology

Qualifications:

· Valid dental hygienist license in North Carolina

· Strong knowledge of dental procedures and preventive care

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
