Seeking PT Hygienist in Rockwall

Are you a dedicated and passionate dental hygienist looking to be part of a small, family-oriented practice? We are seeking a skilled, gentle and compassionate RDH to join our team! Our focus is on delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Position Details:
- Part Time Role 2-3 days per week from Monday - Thursday
- 8:30 - 5:00 PM
- One column of patients per hygienist with generous 1-1.5 hour block for treatment

Responsibilities:
- Perform prophylaxis, generalized gingivitis scalings, scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance
- Take radiographs as needed
- Conduct perio charting
- Take intraoral photos and educate patients on their gum and tooth conditions
- Assist doctor in diagnosing periodontal conditions
- Maintain appropriate infection control and sterilization protocols
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong skill set, including proficiency in air polishing, Arestin therapy, calculus removal, and Cavitron usage. Familiarity with dental charting, fluoride treatment, oral hygiene instruction, and pediatric hygiene is essential. Experience with periodontal screening, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and digital X-rays (both intraoral cameras and traditional X-rays) will be beneficial. A current CPR certification and active TX license is required. Familiarity with Dentrix or Open Dental software will be a plus.
