Job Summary:
Dentlife Dental Care is a private dental practice seeking a skilled EFDA Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental staff in providing excellent oral healthcare to patients. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Completes approved procedures validated through the Ohio Dental Board such as placement of amalgam, composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, etc. in an efficient and timely manner
- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare the work area for procedures and clean up afterward
Requirements:
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Proficiency in Curve Hero dental software
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred
Qualifications:
-Current Radiology Certification
-Current Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certification
