Port Jefferson Station, NYWe are excited to be growing our team here at Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry and looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist looking for part time work, offering a flexible work week for temping if desired!
About the Role:
In this position, you will work closely with our experienced dental professionals to deliver preventive oral care, education, and support to children and their families. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, applying fluoride treatments, and educating young patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Your expertise in pedodontics will be leveraged to ensure that treatments are tailored to the unique needs of our pediatric patients, creating a positive and comfortable environment for them.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a valid dental hygiene license - We seek individuals who are passionate about pediatric dental care and have the ability to build rapport with both children and their guardians. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a gentle touch are essential for creating a pleasant experience for our young patients.
