Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough oral examinations and screenings
- Clean and polish teeth, removing plaque and stains
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health
- Strong patient assessment skills, including taking vital signs
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures is a plus
- Dental assisting experience is an asset
