FULL-TIME EXPERIENCED DENTAL ASSISTANT

We are growing our team and looking for an experienced, compassionate, dependable Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and helping the clinical day run smoothly.
The ideal candidate is confident in their dental assisting skills, organized, proactive, attentive to detail, and able to anticipate the needs of the doctor and clinical team.
This position is best suited for an experienced dental assistant who can transition into the role with minimal foundational clinical training. We will teach our practice-specific systems and standards, but we are seeking someone who already has a strong dental assisting foundation.
OUR SCHEDULE
Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (morning huddle @ 7:30am)
Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM ( morning huddle @ 7:00am)
Friday: OFF

WE ARE A COLLABORATIVE TEAM
While dental assisting will be your primary role, we believe in supporting one another across the practice. At times, this may include helping the hygiene team, supporting sterilization and room turnover, assisting the front desk, or stepping in wherever appropriate and needed to keep the day running smoothly and provide an exceptional patient experience.
We are looking for someone who understands that although everyone has a primary role, we work together as one team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
Strong chairside assisting skills
Experience assisting with restorative and cosmetic procedures
Comfortable with digital X-rays, clinical photographs, impressions and/or digital scanning
Knowledge of proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
Efficient with operatory setup, breakdown, and room turnover
Able to anticipate the doctor’s needs and help maintain an efficient clinical schedule
Strong clinical documentation and attention to detail
Excellent patient communication skills
Professional, dependable, organized, and coachable
A true team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Comfortable collaborating with the doctor, hygiene team, and front office
Willing to support hygiene, sterilization, room turnover, and front-office needs when appropriate
Able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative without always being asked
Passionate about continuing education, professional development, and expanding clinical knowledge
Willing to learn and follow the systems, protocols, and standards of Cosmetic & General Dentistry
