The Holistic Dental Center of Brick is a growing, patient-centered holistic dental practice looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is confident, compassionate, dependable, and ready to be an active part of our team.

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

What We're Looking For:
- 2–3 years of dental chairside experience
- Current NJ Dental Radiologic Technology/X-ray license required
- Perio and Surgical experience is a plus
- CDA or RDA certification not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with patients and helping them understand their treatment
- iTero Intraoral Scanning experience preferred, but willing to train
- Comfortable explaining procedures and providing clear post-operative instructions
- Professional, compassionate, and confident chairside manner
- Highly organized and able to multitask in a busy dental office
- Dependable and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with the practice
- Someone who is willing to continue to learn new techniques, new procedures and follow updated protocols
- Someone that can take constructive criticism and thrive!

Your Responsibilities:
- Chairside & Patient Care
- Assist doctors during restorative, surgical, implant, and general dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
- Take diagnostic X-rays, including PA’s, Panos and CBCT
- Review and explain procedures with patients
- Enter treatment plans into Open Dental and prioritize treatment
- Intraoral photos of pre/post op treatment
- Help patients understand their recommended treatment
- Provide detailed post-operative instructions
- Help patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit
- Surgical & Implant Support
- Assist with surgical procedures and implant cases
- Prepare surgical setups and maintain sterile technique
- Assist with post-operative patient care
- Surgical experience is a definite plus
- Sterilization & Equipment
- Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
- Clean, maintain, and properly operate dental equipment
- Perform routine operational maintenance on equipment and handpieces
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked

Laboratory & Case Management:
- Track laboratory cases and ensure cases arrive on time
- Prepare laboratory cases for submission and shipping
- Package and ship cases appropriately
- Communicate with laboratories regarding cases and delivery timelines
- Help ensure patients are scheduled appropriately around laboratory case arrivals
