Full-Time Dental Assistant
FULL-TIME, motivated dental assistant is desired, who is interested in establishing care and joining our close knit team! We are a private practice, high tech, patient-centric dental office in desirable Arvada, Colorado.
4 Day work week, Competitive, GENEROUS pay and DESIRABLE hours. At least 6-10 years experience desired.
Responsibilities Include:
Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant for a minimum of 6 years
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Open Dental
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Digital scanning
EDDA
Orthodontic assistant is a PLUS
Cross-trained front office is a PLUS
