Full-Time Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a full-time permanent/experienced dental hygienist who will join our family practice to be efficient and pleasant for our patients. You’ll help to ensure excellent customer service.

We are needing a dental hygienist who is well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care, and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities:
Welcome your patients to the dental office.
Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort.
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed.
Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
Undertake lab tasks as needed.
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Keep the dental hygiene room clean and well-stocked.
Maintain accurate patient records.

Skills:
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques.
Understanding of health & safety regulations.
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus.
Good computer skills.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Attention to detail.
Well-organized and reliable.
Knowledge and experience with Scaling and Root Planing, STM - Soft Tissue Managment, Prophylaxis, Pit And Fissure Sealants, Local Anesthesia, Lasers, Oraqix, Dentrix, QSI Dental, Fluoride Treatment, Oral Cancer Screening, Digital Radiography/X-Rays, and Patient Education.

Work Hours Required:
Monday: 8:30am-1pm
Tuesday: 8:30am-6pm
Thursday: noon-6pm
Friday: 8:30am-5pm
Closed on Wednesdays

Pay: $60-$65/hr depending on experience
