Florida Smiles Dental is looking for an experienced, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team for a permanent full-time position.

What You’ll Do
Provide excellent chairside assistance during general and restorative procedures
Anticipate the dentist’s needs and help maintain an efficient clinical workflow
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Take digital X-rays and assist with digital scanning
Assist with crowns, bridges, restorative procedures, and other general dentistry treatments
Fabricate temporary restorations when needed
Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
Keep operatories clean, stocked, and organized
Provide patients with a warm, professional, and reassuring experience
Work closely with the dentist, hygienist, and front-office team

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
Experienced in dental assisting and confident chairside
Dependable, punctual, and highly organized
Comfortable working in a busy general dentistry environment
A strong communicator and team player
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused
Detail-oriented and proactive
Someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities rather than waiting to be told what to do
Interested in a long-term position, not simply a temporary opportunity

Experience & Qualifications
Previous dental assisting experience required (2-3 years)
Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certificatation required
Current CPR certification
Radiography certification required
Experience with Dentrix, digital X-rays, intraoral scanning, and/or digital dentistry is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
