We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. *SPANISH SPEAKING BI-LINGUAL REQUIRED*

Monday 8:45 am - 6:00 pm
Wednesday 8:45 am - 6:00 pm
Friday 8:45 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 8:45 am - 3:00 pm
Duties
-Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
-Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready
-Take dental X-rays using digital imaging equipment, including 3D scanners when applicable
-Manage patient records using Open Dental, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation
-Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort
-Measure vital signs and monitor patient health before procedures
-Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures
-Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care
-Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records as needed
-Ensure the clinic adheres to all safety protocols related to infection control and OSHA regulations
Skills
-Proficiency in Open Dental
-Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient confidentiality and medical documentation
-Experience with digital nomad x-ray technology, iTero scanner, and panoramic x-rays.
-Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology related to oral health
-Skilled in chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency during procedures
-Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes in a dental setting
-Ability to perform vital signs assessment
-Experience working in general dentistry practices or specialized fields such as prosthodontics or endodontics is preferred
-Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members
