EDDA or Dental Assistant

South Springs Dental Group is an established family dental practice located in the SW Colorado Springs area near Fort Carson. We are looking for a reliable EDDA or Dental Assistant to join our team full time. We are a patient-centric practice led by a fantastic doctor that is down-to-earth and fun to be around. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:15pm
Rate: $21-$26/hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chairside manner
*Be conscious of the doctor's schedule and assist with efficient patient flow
*Assist office and doctor in maintaining patient records and informed consent documents
*Assist dentist in utilizing proper four-handed dentistry techniques, observing universal precautions
*Maintain patient comfort before, during, and after dental procedures
*Chart existing dentistry and current conditions in a computerized dental chart
*Capture diagnostic digital radiographs as ordered by the dentist
*Take impressions and assist with lab tasks as needed
*Maintain dental operatories organized and clean, assuring appropriate instruments and supplies are available.
*Sterilize instruments, handpieces, and ancillary equipment
*Comply with office policies and procedures
*Assume the standard of care related to infection control; all OSHA guidelines & safety are upheld at the station they are assigned

Requirements:
*2+ years of Dental Assisting experience
*EDDA Experience, certification preferred
*Certified Dental Assistant preferred
*CPR-BLS required
*Xray Certification required
*Denticon software experience is a plus
