Our quaint office is situated in the Northland area, conveniently located near Zona Rosa and Barry Road. As a small practice led by Dr. Charles Bishop, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent general dentistry with personalized attention to each patient.

This part-time position is open due to the retirement of our valued dental hygienist, and we are seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to work 1-2 days a week, preferably on Thursdays and/or Fridays. In our practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside one doctor, performing comprehensive evaluations and providing top-notch care to our great patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments, utilizing skills such as calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, and chlorhexidine application.
- Conduct gingivitis screenings and treatments, oral cancer screenings, and patient education sessions to promote excellent oral hygiene.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records through paper charting, ensuring proper handoff to the front desk.
- Take and mount traditional x-rays, and complete comprehensive periodontal charting.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- RDH Certification/license and proficiency in dental hygiene practices.
- Skills in patient recall and scheduling, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our patients.
- The ability to work with Curve as our operating system, navigating without monitors in treatment areas while maintaining an efficient workflow.

We offer a competitive salary, and a scheduled lunch break from 1 PM to 2 PM allows you to recharge during your busy day. With only one patient seen at a time, you will have the opportunity to foster strong patient relationships and provide high-quality care.

The office of Dr. Charles Bishop is a well established private practice in the Northland, near Zona Rosa and Barry Road. Our office is small (One Doctor and One Hygienist) and very quaint. We are located on the lower level of the Barry View Bldg. We have paper patient & perio charting, take and mount traditional x-rays and we refer out for perio procedures. We have great patient's & we enjoy providing excellent general dentistry in a relaxed atmosphere.
