We are seeking a dedicated, approachable, and detail-oriented dental hygienist to join our general dental practice. This is a full-time opportunity in a family-owned, small-practice environment where teamwork, patient comfort, and professional growth are highly valued. Since opening in 2004, our office has proudly served patients from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them improve oral health and regain confidence through healthier smiles.
Our team is made up of hardworking, friendly professionals who work together to create a positive experience for every patient. We take pride in continuously improving our techniques and learning new methods that support better outcomes. As part of our practice, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a culture that values quality care, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
This role is ideal for someone with a college-level background who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting and enjoys building trusted relationships. The position offers a consistent four-day workweek, giving you more time to enjoy life outside of work while still being part of a productive and supportive office. During the workday, you’ll be part of a team that appreciates efficiency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Key responsibilities include performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal screening and treatment, gingivitis screening and treatment, calculus removal, ultrasonic scaling, and soft tissue management. You will also provide oral hygiene instruction, patient education, fluoride treatment, bleaching and whitening support, sealants, irrigation agents, chlorhexidine care, desensitization, and local anesthesia as appropriate. Additional responsibilities include dental charting, patient records management, patient recall, scheduling support, treatment planning, and sterilization procedures.
Proficiency with digital and traditional tools is important, including x-rays, intraoral imaging, scanners, and current practice software. Experience with chairside assistance, four-handed dentistry, chairside procedures, and restorative and specialty-related procedures is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is CPR certified, dependable, compassionate, and eager to grow with a team that values excellence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to patient care. If you enjoy helping people feel confident about their smiles, this may be the ideal environment for you.
