Position Summary
The Dental Call Center Representative serves as the first point of contact for our patients, providing outstanding customer service while managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls. This role is essential in maintaining a full hygiene schedule, addressing patient and parent concerns, and ensuring every patient has a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Previous dental office or dental call center experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Open Dental is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and hygiene recall systems
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments, schedule recalls, and follow up with patients.
- Schedule hygiene recall appointments and proactively work to keep the hygiene schedule full.
- Address parent and patient questions, concerns, and requests with empathy and professionalism.
- Coordinate appointments based on provider availability and patient needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all communications.
- Respond promptly to voicemail messages and missed calls.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects our commitment to outstanding patient care.
Position is full-time, eligible for medical/dental/vision benefits after 90 days.
Working hours are Monday-Thursday 7:45AM-4:15PM, Friday 7:45AM-2:15PM.
Pay range is $15-$17/hr and is based on experience.
