**Job Overview:**

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to fill out our hygiene team on a part-time basis. Whether experienced or brand new, all levels of Dental Hygiene are welcomed to apply. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality oral care to our patients and welcoming and inviting patients from all walks of life. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work with our team to ensure patients' oral health is maintained at the highest level. Our office's priority is providing thorough oral hygiene care and we give our hygienists the best possible opportunity to succeed by not overbooking or rushing dental care. Teamwork is our priority and we are looking for the right candidate to fit in with what our offices goals are.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform dental cleanings and assist our oral hygiene team in providing top notch care to patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Conduct oral cancer screenings and take X-rays as needed
- Maintain patient records and treatment plans accurately
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

**Skills:**

- Experience with talking to patients and helping them understand the importance of strong oral hygiene.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Adherence to strict infection control practices
- Familiarity with computers and technology as we are a high tech office.
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices
- Proficiency in CAD/Scanning software is a plus
