We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis in our general dental practice. At our office, we take pride in providing exceptional care and comfort to our patients, many of whom experience dental anxiety. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and relaxing environment, equipped with amenities like TVs, blankets, and headphones to help our patients feel at ease.
As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks, including appointment scheduling, patient charting, and assisting with both restorative procedures and oral hygiene instructions. Familiarity with dental terminology, infection control protocols, and equipment such as ultrasonic scalers and digital X-rays (DEXIS, Gendex) will be essential in this role.
We value a supportive team dynamic, and we are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in dental assisting. Our ideal candidate is skilled in patient care and education, with a foundational understanding of basic dentistry practices.
