Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Update and maintain patient dental records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions
-Basic front desk duty as answering a call and scheduling an appointments.
- Preferred-
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental coding and billing procedures and treatment presentation
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Familiarity with dental documentation and record keeping
- Experience with all general dental procedures
- Experience with Intra Oral Scanning is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA/HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great Team Player
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedure
- Polishing and Sealant certified - preferred.

Monday to Friday ( check for hours)
Saturdays -2 Saturdays a month
Pay: Based on experience
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week ( part time) , Full time 35 hours
