Registered Dental Hygienist
LOCATION
Newcastle, OKOptimum Dental of Newcastle is a growing practice looking for a Dental Hygienist who is excited to grow with us. We are a supportive team that works hard, cares deeply about our patients, and is committed to building a positive, drama-free environment. We are continuing to develop and strengthen our hygiene department and are looking for someone who wants to play a key role in the progress.
Our ideal candidate is positive, flexible, team-oriented, and has a willingness to step in where needed. We value someone who can recognize and respond to the needs of patients and teammates while maintaining a professional and steady presence each day. If you are passionate about oral health and patient education, we would love to meet you.
Current Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
7:40 am to 4:30 pm
Single-column hygiene schedule (one patient at a time)
Hour lunch period
Anticipated expansion to Monday–Thursday within 2–3 months
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on experience, clinical skillset, and alignment with practice growth goals.
In addition to competitive hourly pay, our hygienists participate in both a team-based bonus program and a hygiene-specific bonus program designed to reward growth, productivity, and contribution to the practice.
What We’re Looking For:
Current Dental Hygiene license in good standing
Positive, professional attitude
Flexible and adaptable in a growing practice
Willingness to support team success and office growth
Ability to recognize the needs of others
Strong communication skills
Passion for preventive care and patient education
What You’ll Do:
Provide thorough, high-quality hygiene care in a calm and welcoming manner
Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their oral health
Educate patients on preventive care and treatment recommendations
Take digital x-rays and assist in identifying oral health concerns
Communicate clearly with the doctor and team regarding patient needs
Administer local anesthetic as permitted
Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and compliant
Support the continued growth and development of our hygiene department
Approach each day with a team-first mindset
