Join Our Dedicated Dental Team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist (Mondays and Tuesdays)!

Are you a passionate and motivated dental hygienist seeking an opportunity to thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment? We are looking for a skilled professional to join our reputable general dentistry practice, with a focus on providing high-quality care to our valued patients. As a part-time member of our team, you will play a key role in fostering a positive patient experience and maintaining optimal oral health.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis procedures, dedicating 60 minutes for standard prophylaxis and 90 minutes for new patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, tailored to their unique needs.
- Administer local anesthesia, ensuring patient comfort and care.
- Collaborate with the doctor and office team to maintain efficient workflows and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Uphold our practice’s standards of quality by providing detailed documentation and following infection control protocols.

Qualifications:
- A valid local anesthesia license is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in dental hygiene is ideal; however, candidates with a robust learning aptitude and efficient work ethic will be considered.
- Exceptional communication and patient education skills are essential for success in this role.
- A genuine love for dogs is required, as we have a therapy dog that enhances our office atmosphere.

Additional perks include a comfortable one-hour lunch break where opportunities for team training often arise, and the enjoyment of a relaxed, smaller practice. Compensation will start at $40 per hour, depending on experience.
